Noreen Weir and Walter Huff married on September7, 1942. World War II was on and Walter was in the Navy.Janet was born one year later on September 11, 1943.Age 1 with Mom.At age 2 cousin Joe distracts Janet and snags all the Easter goodies for himself.Janet was just so darn cute, the Honey Boo Boo of her day, that her parents started her in a modeling career.LIfe was hard on the runways . . .And in front of the cameras.Janet couldn't take the pressure and took to alcohol.Her familly tried to intercede but she had discovered the keg.On the beach at Lake Ocquitunk in 1947. The same beach where in just 12 years she would meet the lover of her life.Her grandparents summer home in Stokes State Forest was important to the family and Janet spent warm weather weekends here each year.A last try at modeling at age 4, but Janet was too old at that point.Janet always wanted a dog of her own but ....Her parents misunderstood and in 1948 gave her a baby sister.Janet went to a German Roman Catholic church and  in 1950 she was betrothed to a Germen count.Sister Nora was her Maiden of Honor.The Huff clan in 1950.The girls are decked out for church at age 7.
